Description
- Aging: Blend of 9 to 12 years, in oak barrels (Regulations: 5 years minimum, in oak barrels)
- Degree: 17.5% (generally 16 to 22%)
- Eye: Old gold, amber to brown reflections.
- Nose & Mouth: honey, vanilla, prunes, cinnamon and notes of nuts. Prolonged aging in wood gives Pineau incomparable aromatic power and particular organoleptic characteristics: this is rancio.
